Loulette Bride FAQS
We all know wedding dress shopping can be A LOT of information. From figuring out studio, silhouette, fabrics, scheduling, friends opinions, AH it can feel so overwhelming. Well knowledge is power, so we want to give you some FAQS to ease your brain- so that when you come in, you feel prepared and ready to have fun.
First of all, at Loulette all of our gowns are MADE TO ORDER! This means your gown will but cut, sewn, and altered right here in our BK studio. Trying on samples will give you an idea, but your gown will literally be made to FIT YOUR GORG SHAPE - so keep expectations level and know that during your appointment, if the sample does not fit PERFECTLY, it is all good.
NO your gown will not be as long as the sample, we hem all the gowns to touch the floor in front you so that you can walk on your wedding day, lol. OR you can hem it to tea length, mini, midi, whatever your heart desires!
YES anything that has a train will get a bustle or wristlet OR if you don’t even want a train, we can make your gown without it since we can customize anything.
No you do not need a bra, as we said earlier, everything is made to fit your body PERFECTLY, therefore we can add cups, boning, truly anything to be sure everything fits like a glove and you feel secure and ready to PARTY on your big day.
You will have two fittings with us once you say yes to your gown, one is around 3-4 months before your WD and the last is 4-6 weeks before your wedding so that we have enough time to be sure everything is perfection!
Everything is done right here, we are not ordering your gown from some factory, we are making it with love and responsibility right in our studio - so keep your mind open! You can make customizations to your gown so that it is exactly what you want.
NO you don’t need to make a decision at your first appointment. We encourage you to think on it, try other things, so that you can feel 100% confident in your choice!
TRUST US! We understand that if you’re going with a very custom design and cannot see the final product before deciding, we know what we’re doing! Marteal has 8 years under her belt here at Loulette. She is incredibly creative and innovative and does know what is best and what will look DOPE. So take a breath, and trust that we have your best interest at heart!
