Tips For the I Do Crew
How can your crew best support you during your dress shopping journey?
Whether you are you coming in with your besties, your momma, Grandma, or even your yoga instructor, opinions from loved ones can get…tricky.
Below are some tips to pass along to your I Do Crew before your bridal appointments, so your gang can be as helpful and supportive as possible along your bridal shopping journey
BE THE CHEERLEADER!
Opinions can be helpful, but we are here to find the gown for someone you love, and not for yourself! Make sure to keep language supportive, kind, neutral and encouraging.
Letting the bride speak first is key, and checking in with your bride is essential!
CONTENT HONEY!
Your bride may just want a folder sent to them, or a full PowerPoint night with the crew. Either way, take so many pics and videos!
We are happy to help, too!
KEEP IT NEUTRAL!
At Loulette, we are all about body neutrality and inclusivity.
PLEASE, please, pretty please keep your language focused on how our bride FEELS in the gown, rather than how their body LOOKS.
It is SO vital that we support the bride’s vision of how they want to LOOK and FEEL on their wedding day. Keep comments supportive, positive, and complimentary, always!
And most importantly…
HAVE FUN!!!
We are playing dress up for goodness sake, this should feel light and fun! The dress journey should be exciting, encouraging, and carefree as we try on. No stress necessary!
Can’t wait to see you and yours at Loulette Bride!
