Marteal founded Loulette in 2015 with bestie Timmy after years in the mass fashion and bridal industry. From one disappointing job to another, Marteal found that the fashion industry was wasteful, and overall, a huge bummer. But in bridal, everything could be made to order, made with love, and made for womxn in love. What’s cooler than that?

Fun Facts: Traveled cross-country in a mini trailer. Loves lasagna. Obsessed with ice cream, so much so that first screen name was cookiedough70.

Timmy Johnson

Loulette Lingerie Owner, Lingerie Designer

Timmy founded Loulette in 2015 with bestie Marteal after countless desk jobs in the mass fashion and lingerie world. Wanting to get back into a creative groove and design garments to be proud of, Timmy began creating robes and lingerie that could work as bridal toppers, sweaters, lingerie, getting ready robes, honeymoon looks, and everything in between.

Fun Facts: Gets mean when she drinks whiskey. Won our college Halloween costume contest as Mr. T. Has tattoo of Texas (her homestate) on her right butt cheek.

Sanaa Lerner

Master Tailor and Seamstress

Sanaa has been a seamstress and tailor in New York City for over 13 years. Sanaa joined Loulette in 2019, and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.

Perfect Wedding Dress: Nala

Fun Facts: Favorite food is her home country (Mongolia’s) national food, dumplings. Favorite place to visit is Israel. Reads her horoscope everyday.

Production Manager

Nedim joined Loulette Bride in 2023 and is the reason your dress is absolute perfection. He was previously a sweater designer and has sewn his whole life.

Fun Facts: Speaks German, Bosnian, & English. Made his sisters wedding gown, and can quote all of The Devil Wears Prada.

Jillian Van Niel

Director of Sales

Jillian joined Loulette Bride in spring of 2022. She lives in Greenpoint, and now does both Loulette Bride bridal appointments and manages wholesale accounts.

Fun facts: Can do a mean Gollum impression, has been to 49 states, loves ice cream, and will passionately talk about Taylor Swift for hours on end.

Mable

Shop dog, Sales closer

Mable joined the Loulette team in 2017. She has won Employee of the Month for 76 consecutive months and counting, despite napping in the sun all day, everyday. When Mable likes your dress, she will curl up and lay on the train.

Perfect Wedding Dress: Prefers nudity

Fun Facts: Can smell chicken bones a block away. Tries to eat flies. Sometimes catches them.
